A modular notification system. Users, User groups, Admins can be notified about events. For example: Content events (new page, updated page, deleted page) Admin events (new registration, failed login attempts, failed git sync,....).

Looking for a nice way to share (formatted) wiki pages with external links intact

It might be hard to integrate, but it would be a killer feature that no other wiki offers. Perhaps you could use ShareDB: https://github.com/share/sharedb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operational_transformation

Some users that are not registered may want to switch to the dark theme, but they can't do it without registration. What about placing this switcher in the footer?

For technical documentation with many foreign words, a glossary would be very handy. For example, info could be displayed when hovering over words.

Wiki.js should create a sitemap.xml on a standard path (e.g. wiki.example.com/sitemap.xml ) and dynamically update it as pages are added and deleted.

Recently I checked the code for diagrams aka drawio and noticed that they implemented dark mode, but the embed view does not show it properly to change it. By adding &ui=dark in the embed URL, will apply dark mode theme. Maybe can be consistent with WikiJS dark mode implementation so does apply when the user uses this mode.

Currently when moving or renaming a page, all existing links point to the old page. The correct behaviour would be to update all links to the new page, either optional or explicit.

It would be great to have an administration tool in "utilities > content" which would allow to list all pages containing broken links. The tool should be able at least to list broken links pointing to internal pages of the wiki instance. An advanced feature could be to list broken links that point to external pages. It would ease greatly the maintainance of the wiki and keeping it up to date. Thank you in advance
