The Parasite

The Parasite is an adventure for Dread, a tabletop horror RPG using a Jenga tower instead of dice.

The player characters are part of a professional paranormal investigation agency asked to investigate the beautiful Victorian Darkwood Estate. The Estate Owner called The Agency there with reports of a haunting. Typical poltergeist sighting, nothing out of the ordinary. Doors slam shut, voices emanate from the walls, ghostly figures slip around corners. 

All seems like a cut and dry haunting until the Estate Owner admits that they called The Agency as a sort of prank, but that doesn’t explain why the stars have disappeared outside the lead paned windows.
