Stay With Me

Summary:

You fall into a pond one day and end up in a magical new world. You are taken in by 3 strangers and must figure out what the fuck to do next...and can you even trust these 3? (Very very verrry early in development)

Stay with me is  visual novel I tried to make for the "Sealed with a kiss" jam, but I didn't work on most of it till 2 days before the jam ended. But I figured I'd keep working on it anyways, and had a lot of fun trying to figure out renpy again! Though you can really tell idk how to draw backgrounds lmao and a lot of them are janky and unfinished (trust me- I'm showing you the good ones out of the bunch...im more of a character portrait guy lol)

Stay with me includes:

• Nameable MC
• Choose between he/him, she/her, and they/them pronouns
• Some choices that will give you different outcomes, but also some incomplete ones 
• The tone of the game is mostly silly with a sudden tone shift at one point
• More of a introductory to my characters, no real stakes as of yet 
• about 15 to 25 minutes for one play-through

There currently aren't any endings since I've only really been able to spend a week on this game and spent most of the time relearning how to use renpy, however in the future I plan to fix up the art, dialogue, and add more choices!

  • Alistair (he/him)
    • A mysterious wizard who sells potions and elixirs. And does other stuff...
    • nicknamed Alice by Mabel cause the beginning portion of Alistair kinda sounds like that to her, and she loves to bother him <3
    • Loves fucked up magic

  • Mabel (she/her)
    • A witch who's elusive and strange, but sweet(?)
    • Thinks witches are better than wizards lol
    • 
  • Theo (he/him)
    • Strong dude who's kinda dumb and sarcastic. But always has your back.
    • Will kill and die for those he loves <3 
• Update character art and make the resolution better
• Fix background art and add more scenes
• FIX THE GUI it's kinda ugly right now 
• Put the kiss further down the story. I added it night one cause of the jam, but it's kinda ham-fisted tbh
• Add some fucked up choices
• Add some more silly choices :3
• Add more horrory art. 
• And also add more cutesy art
• rewrite some of the dialogue, make the RO's a little more off-putting or aloof at first maybe? lol idk yet
• Idk what else my brains a little fried at the moment.
