About

Blood Of The Lamb is a 2D horror game about exorcising demons, set in medieval times.

Demonic possessions are increasing all over the land. You are a priest being trained by the church to perform exorcisms and help the afflicted population. You have an exorcism book with all the knowledge you need, and a case of holy relics to aid you in your quest.

Current development stage

The game is currently in prototype stage. We're using prototype builds to gather player feedback about the gameplay mechanics and overall style/mood. Your messages are key to help us improve the game! Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

We are working full time on Blood Of The Lamb and will release new builds as often as we can.

Future development

The prototype builds have no story in them, but we already have the full story drafted. After a few rounds of gameplay/style iteration, we will move into production of the main game. We will release a demo that will serve as intro to the main story. Stay tuned!

Loved the premise, only suggestions are:

1:  they are all the same model of guy, a new model or two would be nice to see, maybe even have one with every new exorcism.

2: There is no real consequence for failing, it would be sick if yall could do the same animation you do with the signs of corruption showing up, but make it if you fail, and have them like them being corrupted and scaring you, or maybe them like getting disfigured or something like that after you failed to exorcise the demon.

3: The embers/incense minigame is very difficult, also does not work with left mouse button, only space. The game was difficult because even though I was holding space on the embers, it would still drain my meter and lead to a lost life. It was fine for the early 1, but the other 2 it was very difficult.

Overall though, great game and great concept, I liked the art style and the signs of corruption, will be releasing vid on this great game!

Thanks for the message! Right now there are no major consequences for failing, indeed. The current prototypes focus on gathering player feedback about the gameplay mechanics and overall style. Once we start implementing the main game we will add multiple characters and failing will have an impact on the main story.

Having the characters possessed in the sidescroller view is a cool idea!

I took note of the issues you mentioned about incense minigame. We’ll try to balance it a bit better.

Happy to know you liked the game, and let us know if you release a video! Cheers!

This is such a cool game but I suggest nerfing the candle minigame cus it's a bit hard to find anything without any guidance

Thanks for the feedback! The candle minigame is for sure our top priority right now, multiple people shared the same opinion about it.

Next patch should have some improvements. Cheers!
