My previous lives
Born in France, I hold a Master in Computer Science and Micro Electronics from the University Of Paris 8. After several years designing and developing software for the banking industry, my passion for the Internet led me to create Mygale, the very first French-speaking online community, providing free web hosting and email to all. Mygale was later acquired by Lycos Europe. I moved to the US to work for Sun Microsystem as an engineer and developed system administration tools for the Sun Cluster Group. Before joining Internet Archive in 2008, I was focused on providing hosted anti-spam solutions and free web utilities. At Internet Archive, I managed the web group's data center and designed, maintained and developed tools to ensure that the systems run smoothly.
I have a strong track record as an architect and developer of highly scalable web services. Ability to lead a project from the concept phase to the final roll-out. Developed services around social networking, news syndication, and user generated content.
Expert in email management, including anti-spam, security, and high volume processing.
Deep knowledge of Unix system architecture, security, and high availability environments.
