As we end 2024 and get ready to start 2025 it’s always a great time to reflect on the year we’ve had and think about what is to come. 2024 saw our 45th anniversary… no small feat! We wouldn’t be here today without the support of our amazing customers. With hundreds of thousands of customers all around the globe, we are able to build products that solve a wide variety of problems. In fact, our core purpose is to “improve society through innovation.” With your help, we have achieved, and continue to achieve that goal. To our global partners, you are a huge part of our success. Without you, we wouldn’t reach parts of the world who need our products the most. You’ve supported us through the highs and lows, and for that we are eternally grateful. In 2024 we released five Remark Test Grading updates, including some big features such as an answer key import, better form recognition, and FACTS and Moodle LMS integrations. We also released six international versions of Remark Office OMR, allowing us to make the software accessible in parts of the world near and far. So, what’s to come? Remark Office OMR 12, yes 12, is on the horizon. Remark Test Grading will also see several updates, including the long-awaited Google Classroom integration. And of course, we will continue to listen to you, our valued customers and partners, and integrate the features you need most. You are our first priority! Each year we support a local charity that provides meals to homeless persons in our community. It's time for another monthly support webinar! This month we are featuring the Define Format feature in Remark Office OMR. This feature can be used with grid style OMR regions, OCR, ICR, and barcode regions with a set number of characters. Formatting allows you to set the number of expected characters and enter a pattern for the data captured during form processing. When the defined pattern isn’t met, Remark flags the cell for review. You can also set the pattern to display items such as slashes for a date, decimal points, phone number formats, etc. It's a great tool for those with more advanced data collection needs.
