Amongst the array of Stripe's freshly-added features, announced at #StripeSessions? A new Entitlements API. We're thrilled about it, and we can quickly show you how to use it. "This API lets you create features which can then be assigned to products," said Echobind's senior software engineer Kishan Gajera. "Until recently, your back-end implementation was responsible for managing entitlements for a customer’s subscription plan." Kishan talks about the complexity in keeping your back-end in sync with the customer’s subscription throughout its lifecycle as recurring payments may fail or the plan is upgraded, downgraded, or canceled. Google layoffs: Sundar Pichai-led Alphabet's arm fires the entire Python Coding team, following a move aimed at reducing costs by hiring less expensive labour outside the United States, says report. Google has laid off several employees in the past few weeks to slash costs. An Ex-Employee mentioned that the two-decade career at Google was the best job ever.
