A Mintz team led by Member Sean T. Yesterday, our Chairman, former Congressman Henry Waxman and other experts joined the The Brookings Institution to celebrate 40 years of the Hatch-Waxman Act and discuss lessons learned since its passage. At its core, the Hatch-Waxman Act promotes drug innovation, marketplace competition, and access to affordable drugs. While those driving factors remain, today’s marketplace has evolved — and there will always be more work to be done to drive drug innovation, competition, and affordability.
