If you’ve been following our work on AMI-based non-firm grid connections for PV generators, you’ll be interested in the new article we’ve submitted to CIRED (International Community on Electricity Distribution)! As you know, we have been testing this innovative solution through three field experiments, and we felt the results were worth sharing. Is PLC communication reliable enough to control real-world LV networks? Could a local controller introduce instability?
