My name is Tanisha Delgardo and I am currently a construction manager, previously titled Resident Engineer. I work on construction projects with inside the terminal. I am currently working on Checkpoint 1 relocation and also PLB Wi-Fi. I believe that it's important to have female representation in construction because it provides a element of diversity. Also it creates. The labor gap, that we have a shortage in women in construction. I believe also that it is inspiring for the younger generation to see women, women of color in this industry. I do feel like the Port does a great job at empowering women and different roles here at the Port and construction particularly. I have had the opportunity to work under a lot of great leaders that have been women. They all have helped me develop my professional career here at the Port of Seattle. I keep a good work life balance by my faith. And that's number one. I also do a lot of volunteer work. I partnered with the city of Seattle and I help with the homeless crisis that we have. UMM. I also enjoy spending quality time with my kids. What I'm looking forward to next in life, I would say. Have you rank it. I can't wait to be a grandmother, not that I am pushing for my kids to do that anytime soon, but it is something I am looking forward to. But for the immediate, I am looking forward to the next Air Max shoe that comes out.
