My name is Janet Shearer and my position is a capital program leader in the Aviation Project Management Group. My job is to manage several capital project managers here at SEA to build mega construction projects at the airport. I am currently working on the Sea Concourse expansion project. One of my favorite stories from my role is when we were opening the International Arrivals Facility project and we had an opportunity for the public to come through and see the project for the very first time. And it was really fantastic to actually see everybody's reaction to the building is the 10 year project. So that was really great and my. It's important to have women represented in construction. Because having all these different points of view, including women's point of view, makes projects better. And women need to understand that there are so many projects that they can do on a construction site. Something I want to leave behind at the port is these projects. These are 50 year projects. So. So I really love the idea that something that I worked on is going to outlast me and might be something that, you know, people are still walking. Through using years and years after I'd left course, Yeah. Something that I'm looking forward to in my current role is just seeing this building come together. We're going to be getting to the point where the building is going to be enclosed and we're working on actually creating a space, and we'll be able to get a feel for what it's really going to be like to experience the second course expansion project when it's all done. So I'm releasing Forage it Up.

4dI think it's cool to that those of us who worked on projects at the Port have left a legacy of sorts. You should be proud of the ones you have done!
