We are working on a select number of retained engagements for Partners currently at Tempting Talent. A key factor for us in partnering on a role like this, is our qualification process. Compensation is often considered as a key factor but the main point we qualify for is platform. - What is the collaboration like across the Partner ecosystem? - How is collaboration and cross-practice working baked into the incentive model? - What is the platform's track record of onboarding new Partners? A Partner on the right, collaborative platform can increase their billings significantly. A commonly used phrase with our clients is making "1+1 =3". While a lot of the market is focused on payout, you should be assessing a prospective business on their platform. If you have the opportunity to work with other Partners who are additive to your practice, your 50% cut of your $1m billings can become a 40% of your $2m billings. Naturally it is not as simple as that but I would suggest really dialing into the platform before solely focusing on payout. We will be covering Platform and Collaboration in our 2025 Compensation Report, as these factors should be considered as part of the package!
