Started to read while I had time, looks like soom good tips excited to read all and take some action (:

I am glad Github does not ignore us noobies in the community and provides us with information to level up our game.

I also have my portfolio hosted on github pages and to be honest this is huge help for developer around the globe

Also, LinkedIn offers a course on how to build your portfolio with jekyll, nice and easy to follow. I love how much flexibility it offers in terms of functionality and design, not to mention that you never have to worry about hosting or expensive domains. Over the years I've had more than 5 portfolios, and everytime I got a job, I wouldn't wanna keep paying for the hosting, and afterwards it's a pain to start over. Not to mention that there were always limitations in terms of layout and what you could do. Github portfolios are so nice to keep.
