🌟 Hackathon Weekend: OSS4AI Experience 🌟 This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the OSS4AI Hackathon with my talented teammates, Ben Sobel and Himanshu Tayal. Together, we built an innovative project: Paper2Code, an AI Assistant designed to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application. What does it do? Our AI simplifies the process of converting complex research papers into functional code. By simply uploading a paper, users receive ready-to-use functions, classes, and algorithms in Python. This tool is a game-changer for researchers, developers, and industries, enabling faster prototyping, better accessibility to research insights, and a more seamless transition from theory to implementation. In just 6 hours, we turned this idea into a working application! 🌟 Thrilled to be part of Campus DEVCON AI Horizons: Pioneering Tomorrow's Solutions!  🚀 It's exciting being part of the technical committee to help livestream this incredible tech talk as a way of bringing these new ideas and insights out into a much larger audience. The experience was incredibly rewarding. Notable among these was a closer look at some pioneering uses of artificial intelligence and machine learning in Python, something that is causing huge upheaval across different industries. A presentation by experts about the proper use of such technologies provided me with essential information that I am eager to start implementing in my professional life. The event offered excellent opportunities for networking with people who are similarly enthusiastic about technology and innovation. I had the chance to communicate with such people and feel that such communication built a collaborative spirit among the attendees because they shared ideas and deliberated on possible future initiatives. Additionally, I learned about some of the newer trends in artificial intelligence and their future impact on the industries involved. I'm thrilled to share that I recently participated in a GenAI Bootcamp : Create a Chatbot with GenAI organized by REGex Software Services! It was an amazing experience filled with hands-on training, interactive sessions, and valuable insights. During this bootcamp, we developed a chatbot from scratch. Key takeaways include: ✅ Developing and deploying a functional chatbot ✅ Learning Python fundamentals ✅ Integrating Generative AI APIs for enhanced functionality A huge thank you to the mentors for their support. I am here to share with you my goals for this month and give a check in on how things at TKS are going, so I'll be starting a learn article this weekend and choosing my Focus topic like (AI, BCI, Genetic engineering, MetaVerse etc) I'll going ahead with AI and learning more about it in Deep, work on projects, articles and create interesting Videos about it !!!!! This weekend on Sat I'll experiencing my first hackathon in TKS which Im fuelled up for<3 And, def be sharing my discoveries, project, and some key-takeaways apart from all of that I am doing several courses on AI and ML, starting to learn coding (python) and writing multiple articles (on AI and a lot more into it )which I'll be publishing on Medium so if you want to see those and maybe get some real takeaways follow my epic journey in TKS......... 🚀 Exciting News from the Hackathon! 🚀 https://lnkd.in/dhcXTqC8 I am thrilled to share that our team has been working on an innovative project called TruthGuard during the recent hackathon! https://lnkd.in/dfS4gabY TruthGuard is an AI-powered system designed to combat fake news through advanced AI and content moderation, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Llama 3 to distinguish between authentic and misleading information in real-time across digital platforms. Project Highlights: - Real-time detection of fake news using AI algorithms - Content moderation to ensure trustworthy information dissemination - User-friendly interface for seamless interaction and feedback Technology Stack: - Python 3.11 - Flask (Web Framework) - Together AI (Llama 3 model) - Pandas (Data manipulation) - Scikit-learn (Machine Learning) - LlamaIndex (Knowledge graph system) - Milvus (Vector Database) My Contributions: - Implemented KNN and RAG pipelines: Added reference scripts for implementing the KNN model and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline for enhanced news classification. - Fine-tuned Llama 3 model: Worked on fine-tuning the Llama 3 model using the WELFake dataset to improve the accuracy of fake news detection. - Developed Flask application: Created the backend structure with Flask to handle API requests for news classification. - Integrated Together AI: Set up the Together AI client for Llama 3 model integration and real-time news classification. - Vector database setup: Integrated Milvus vector database for efficient similarity search. Future Enhancements: - Expanding the system to handle multiple languages - Implementing user feedback mechanisms for continuous learning I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved in such a short time and am excited about the potential impact of TruthGuard in the fight against fake news. 🚀 Thrilled to share my first assignment from the Computer Vision with GenAI Bootcamp! Objective: To classify time-lapsed video frames into day or night using OpenCV. 🌞🌙 What I Did: I leveraged brightness levels in images to classify the time of day. While the results were encouraging, the model faced challenges in distinguishing between sunrise and sunset, revealing an opportunity for further enhancement. 🎯 Next Steps: To overcome this limitation, I plan to refine the model by exploring additional features and advanced techniques to better capture transitional times like sunrise and sunset.
