This weekend, I decided to try out the #Automatic1111 Stable Diffusion Web UI on my Snapdragon X Elite device. Previously, there was no support for Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, but now thanks to the recent integration of the QNN backend you can now use the Stable Diffusion Web UI on the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU on Snapdragon X Series Devices. My goal was to test out image generation, with the Stable Diffusion 1.5 model from Qualcomm AI Hub, through the Web UI. Check out the results for yourself in the video below. The results were quite impressive - running completely locally on the NPU!
