American Nurses Enterprise’s Post

🌟The stars were out in NY including our own Angela Beddoe and the extraordinary Susan L. Taylor in support of next generation nurses and leaders. 🌟 The American Nurses Enterprise was honored to be a sponsor of the National CARES 10th Anniversary For The Love Of Our Children Gala and to participate in the CARE Affiliate Leadership Summit—a gathering of visionary leaders dedicated to mentorship, equity, and opportunity. From celebrating the power of community and transformation at the gala to engaging in critical conversations about workforce development, well-being, and equity, this experience reaffirmed our shared commitment to investing in next generation success. Together, we are building pathways to success, ensuring that every aspiring nurse and next gen leader has the support, mentorship, and opportunities they deserve. #EquityInNursing #NextGenLeaders #CARESgala25 #ThePowerOfNurses Essence Magazine

Oh my goodness! This is wonderful! Before becoming a nurse and CRNA, I was an Auditor for Ernst & Whinney in NYC. One of our clients was Essence Magazine with the iconic Susan Taylor as Editor in Chief. I was the only Black Auditor on this account and she stopped at my table and shared how thrilled she was for me to be on the team. Every time I seen her at the site, she spoke to me with kind words of encouragement. I will always remember her exemplar leadership style and kindness. As a first generation college graduate, to see a successful Black woman was awe inspiring. Love seeing her beautiful smile, always. This warms my heart, truly.
