- Another nice additional feature that is offered by the VMware Pro versions is the option to create additional networks. Let me show you. So the option to work with additional networks is a little bit hidden in VMware. You need to go to the VMware menu. And there you can find Settings. So on Mac, that's on VMware Fusion, on Windows, that will be on VMware Workstation. And in the settings you have the different settings and what you need is the network option. Now this is Mac, so I need to click the lock to make changes because this is going to be reflected on the host operating system as well. So I'm going to click plus, and that allows me to add a new network. So as you can see, vmnet3. And Subnet IP, well you can determine the subnet IP that you want. So I want 10.10.0.0 for instance. And then I'm clicking Apply. And now I have the new network available, vmnet3. Why would you want to need that? Well, this is useful if you have configuration, a more complex virtual machine…
