Send files with Dropbox Transfer
- [Instructor] Dropbox offers another way to share files that is super convenient if you just want to send a copy of a file to one or more recipients. This method is called Dropbox Transfer. I use this feature many times a week and it found it to be a rock solid way to send large files to associates. All you do is select a file or folder that's in your Dropbox folder, right click, and choose send a copy. No need to zip the folder together first. Dropbox will take care of that for you. Click the gear icon to change the expiration date or add a password. Then click create transfer. Wait a bit, and then you can either just copy the link and paste it into an email or click the send email button. If you click the send email button, you'll be notified when each recipient downloads the file transfer, which can be extremely useful information for some workflows.
