- [Instructor] Whenever you store files somewhere you should be concerned about the security of those files. Could someone access or review your files without your permission? There are a couple of defensive measures that you can take to safeguard your Dropbox data. One of these is to enable two-step verification. When you enable this, whenever you access your files through a web browser or link a new device to your account the login procedure changes. Dropbox texts a unique code to your phone and then you must enter this code in addition to your password. To enable two-step verification, go to dropbox.com/login and sign in with your Dropbox username and password. Then click your account icon on the upper right and choose settings. Go to the security tab and toggle two-step verification on. Click on Get started, and type in your Dropbox password. Click next and then choose whether you want to receive the code via a text…
