Use slicers to filter

- [Instructor] Here's a tip for filtering that you might really like, and that's slicers. In fact, I have some slicers up right here in this workbook already. It's these panel of buttons here. These are slicers. And they're essentially big buttons for filtering. So, for example, if I wanted to see only the sales on January 20th, I would just click that button and a filter would be applied with only the January 20th sales. You can clear this filter by clicking this clear button here. And I can keep going. So I could go ahead and I could click Jan Kotas, and I could click Company H, and I could see how many chocolate biscuit mixes were sold. And there we go. We've got slicers that are filtering this data even more. So, how do you make these slicers? Well, first of all, you've got to make an Excel table, and I'll show you how to do that.
