Looking Back on 2024, Looking Forward to 2025 First off, I have to confess that I messed up on the posting of Part #2 of this podcast. We usually try to keep the episodes relatively short. Everyone is busy and we want to respect everyone's time with 20 to 30 minute episodes. I messed up and posted as Part #2 that was supposed to be #2 and #3. So had an hour episode. For that, I apologize. Now, to the episode and looking forward to 2025. A key point that we discuss for 2025 is an obvious topic...the economy. Doug, being a numbers guy, heads right for the key to any farming/ranching operation is the break even point for production. Don't over-think. Don't over-complicate. Know a simple break-even point and build and follow a marketing plan from there. But today's buzz in branding is your personal brand. And this comes to the who, what, where, when and why of a person or organization. One of the topics in the latest episode of Vision Tech Perspectives is that of "Why?" The "Why are you doing what you are doing?" Listen in on the latest conversation on Vision Tech Perspectives as we post Part #3 of this conversation on Monday March 3rd. #VisionTechPerspectives https://lnkd.in/gDREGJE2

Looking Back on 2024, Looking Forward to 2025 A lot is changing in ag. And it's changing very quickly. So how do we navigate the fast pace of today's industry? How do we make needed changes to keep up, but not go too far out over our ski's that we crash? It goes back to an old radio show, American Top 40. I guess it's still on the air, but I harken back to the original with Casey Kasem and his closing tag line for the show. "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars." We have to keep our feet firmly planted in what we know, but we also have to continue to explore opportunities for meaningful change. Listen to the latest episode of Vision Tech Perspectives as Doug and Dave continue the discussion on 2024 and 2025. #VisionTechPerspectives https://champ.ly/lluPdITv

Looking Back on 2024, Looking Forward to 2025 So what does 2025 hold for us? We have a new political administration. We have been in a recession that looks to continue through 2025. We have new technologies. We have new programs. And we have our customers, those who buy groceries, that are more involved in how their food is grown than ever before. So what opportunities are there in 2025. Join us for the continuation of our conversation on the latest episode of Vision Tech Perspectives. #VisionTechPerspectives https://lnkd.in/gDREGJE2

Looking back on 2024 and Looking ahead to 2025 As we continue our conversation on looking back at 2024 and looking forward to 2025, we talk about ag's customer base. The consumer and their fairly new involvement in how their food is grown. From California's Prop 12, to Carbon Sequestration, to Sustainability and Regenerative practices. We talked about how these drive how we are changing our business practices, but also in how we will be changing our production practices. Some will change because of the requirements. Some for the programs. But, more importantly, some for how we might be able to change for the better. Better for our customers. Better for our businesses. Better for our industry.
