Community members came out last night to learn more about our proposed Battery Energy Storage System near Gaylord, MI —a project that could power 300,000 homes and enhance grid reliability. “It’s kind of a nice thing to have happen because of what’ll happen down the road in the next four or five years,” said Livingston Township Supervisor Norman Brecheisen. “We’re really excited about getting some additional income” to support local roads, schools, and infrastructure. We’re committed to keeping the community informed and engaged as the project moves forward. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/e5eEUD6Q #CommunityEngagement #EnergyStorage #RenewableEnergy

🔆 On the Ground at Red Hollow 🔆 Our Vesper Energy team—Jillian Taylor (Project Developer), Yang (Director of Transmission & Interconnection), and Alex Sosa (Manager, Development Engineering)—recently visited the Red Hollow project site in Archer County, TX alongside @oncor-electric-delivery and @epeconsulting Engineers. This site visit allowed us to assess the transmission line (POI), proposed utility switchyard, and project substation location while also coordinating with our landowner partners—an essential step in advancing this 300MW PV + 300MW BESS project in ERCOT. #VesperEnergy #RenewableEnergy #GridSolutions #Solar #BatteryStorage #ERCOT

Solar power led the energy sector in growth last year, with generation increasing over 26% in the first 11 months of 2024. Solar accounted for 81.4% of new capacity during that time, soaring to 98.6% in November alone, according to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) data. At Vesper Energy, we’re making significant progress at our Hornet Solar project, where over 1 million of the planned 1.36 million panels are now installed— bringing us closer to completing one of the largest single-phase solar projects in the U.S. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eW5QdzAn #solarpower #communitysolar
