2024 Dream Achieved on the First Day of 2025!
Hitting 500 followers was one of the dreams I chased in 2024.
Achieving 500 followers seemed like a daunting task, and getting it done at the first attempt was even more challenging. And, honestly, it was tough!
The daily posts, daily designs, daily plans, and research I conducted helped me create 50 posts – something interesting and resourceful that would encourage my real audience to hit the follow button.
I discovered that I would gain 2 followers every time I made a new post. To keep the momentum going, I increased my posts to 3 times daily.
Yesterday, the last day of 2024, I worked extensively to create a carousel post with 7 slides, hoping to reach my first 500 followers.
Just after posting, it seemed like the algorithm didn't recognize the content, and I only got 58 reaches and 2 followers, as usual.
I took a deep breath, told myself that the algorithm is a game, and that I'm going to win.

Then, I prepared a design to celebrate my first 500 followers and continued to wait. I waited until 20 minutes before the start of 2025 before giving up.
But this morning, I woke up to see 62 notifications on my LinkedIn app! I was filled with joy.
Guess what? 🫣
My 2024 dream has just been achieved on the first day of 2025! 💃 💃 💃
