RCG would like to welcome two new recruiters to our team. Sofia Fortuna and Danny Moshier are 2023 graduates and both hail from upstate NY. Sofia recently moved to Charlotte from Western New York. Sofia graduated in December 2023 with her bachelor's degree in health science from St. Bonaventure University. She has a background in health science, business development, and recruiting. Sofia is passionate about building meaningful relationships and contributing to the success of both candidates and organizations. Outside of work, Sofia enjoys running, golfing, and cheering for the Buffalo Bills. She loves the beautiful falls in upstate New York and enjoys traveling back to visit her family and friends from St. Bonaventure. Danny Moshier hails from Saratoga, New York and holds a bachelor's degree in management from Marist College, where he also earned a master's degree in Marketing and Communications. Danny's background includes playing Division I baseball, an experience that instilled a strong sense of teamwork and dedication. Danny recently relocated to Charlotte and is loving his new surroundings. In his downtime, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and watching sports. Network Engineer: Charlotte, Nc or Remote Essential Functions · Maintain security, circuitry, and networking devices and upgrade when necessary. · Providing support for other engineers on PA equipment/software · Cross train in-house to share knowledge and share workload. · Responsible for LAN installation including switches and routers. · Provide support to project managers on security/network deployments. · Suggest and detail design changes as and when needed. · Documentation for the installations and provide continuing service advice. · Proactively review and maintain infrastructure. · Responding to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during production outages · Working remotely or onsite as per business requirements Education and Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered. · Proven experience in network management. Experience, Skills and Competencies Required · Knowledge and experience installing and supporting Palo Alto Firewalls (minimum three years) · Experience of installing and maintaining Cisco Switches · Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification · preferred. · CCNP certified (or higher) preferred. · Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing · Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS · Palo Alto Command line · Cisco command line · Must have a good networking background and understanding. · A high level of Palo Alto expertise in design, configuration, migrations, tuning and · customization of features · Thorough knowledge of Panorama, Wildfire, Global Protect, and other Palo Alto features including and not limited to SSL decryption. · Experience of supporting clients remotely and face to face, along with experience of working with SIP providers · Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analysers. · Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal · Must be flexible to work outside of business hours as per business requirements. · Needs to be able to remain calm under pressure and ensure a logical thought process is maintained.
