💛 What would we do without our amazing volunteers? 💛 Kristen began her journey with PCFLV as an event attendee and donor. Then, unexpectedly and heartbreakingly, she became a PCFLV mom when her son, Bryce, was diagnosed with cancer. Today, she is also one of our cherished volunteers. We are so grateful for her consistent support and love seeing her warm smile in our office! "People say “God works in mysterious ways”. I couldn’t agree more. My first exposure to PCFLV was attending the Hearts of Gold Gala in November 2014. In March 2015, my son Bryce was diagnosed with brain cancer. I witnessed firsthand how PCFLV stepped right in to provide support when I needed it most. This foundation is truly a blessing to my family and many other families in the Lehigh Valley. 🎄 WOW, WOW, WOW! 🎄 With tears in our eyes and gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to recognize the incredible generosity of Angel Tree Farms and all of YOU who visited their Christmas tree farm this year! This husband-and-wife duo, Bill and Karen, along with their daughter Spencer and a team of amazing volunteers, work tirelessly year-round to plan, fundraise, and operate their nonprofit Christmas tree farm in Alburtis. Every December, they offer beautiful, fresh-cut trees in exchange for donations to PCFLV. This year, their passion and dedication reached new heights as they delivered a record-breaking check for $30,000 to support our programs and services for local families facing pediatric cancer. 💛 🚨 Year 5 Milestones at Angel Tree Farms: - 634 trees "sold"—200 more than last year! - $7 increase in average donations per tree - From a $1,000 donation in 2020 to this incredible $30,000 contribution from their 2024 season! NEW PROGRAM: ART THERAPY! We had an incredible time hosting our very first Art Therapy program - this one for cancer warriors and their siblings ages 4-11! It was a night filled with creativity, laughter, and self-expression as our young artists explored their imaginations and let their emotions shine through their artwork. Art therapy is more than just painting or drawing—it’s a way for our kids to process their feelings, build confidence, and find moments of joy amidst their cancer journeys. A huge thank you to our amazing art therapist from Therapeutic Arts Group who joined us to make the evening so special, and to all of you whose donations and support make these programs possible. 💛 #PCFLV #ArtTherapy #HealingThroughArt #SupportKidsWithCancer
