“We intend to keep expanding our supplier manufacturing footprint to source more local materials in every market we serve.” – Nextracker 2024 Sustainability Report In our latest sustainability report, we’re spotlighting our mission to foster a strong, healthy supply chain for reliable, on-time manufacturing and delivery. In fact, it is a big reason why we were the first U.S. solar company to achieve 100 GWs in global shipments. Did you know? Nextracker has opened or expanded more than 20 U.S. manufacturing facilities since 2021. And, as of 2024, we are working with roughly 80 strategic suppliers to provide optimal, cost-effective solutions to customers around the world. But it’s not just what we manufacture, it’s also how we do it – and responsible sourcing plays a big role. For example, to boost the U.S. green steel market and further decarbonize our supply chain, we joined the Sustainable Steel Buyers Platform. And we always strive to comply with best practices on human rights, environmental management, and business integrity. Good news for solar. “Some of the largest industrial and data operations in the world continue turning to solar and storage as a reliable, low-cost way to power their operations.” - SEIA president and CEO Abigail Ross Hopper. 📄 SEIA’s 2024 #SolarMeansBiz report is out and it shows that U.S. businesses have now installed nearly 40 gigawatts (GWs) of onsite and off-site solar capacity. That includes, small businesses, technology brands, manufacturers, and big box retailers. Report ranking highlights include: Meta has the most #solar installed with 5.2 GWs Google has the most #storage capacity with 936 MWhs Amazon has a nation-leading 13.6 GWs of new solar procurements under contract Most companies surveyed in the report listed the Inflation Reduction Act’s clean energy incentives as a big reason for going solar, sending a clear message: American businesses are focused on driving down electricity costs and solar is a favored solution time and time again. As data centers and industrial operations grow, so will our nation’s power demand and it is vital that we meet this demand with reliable, homegrown solar energy.
