What do product marketing, banking, AI, and Iceland have in common? Normally, I would say nothing, but in this particular instance, the answer is nCino, Inc. How, you might ask? Let me explain how starting a new job last year at nCino led me to exploring glaciers in Iceland. This fall, not long after starting my role on the Product Marketing team at nCino, I had the opportunity to participate in the company's Skill-a-thon, a hackathon competition that challenged employees to create new GenAI use cases and capabilities for the nCino platform. I teamed up with the brilliant Avery Cocozziello, MBS and Elizabeth Drescher, and together we dug deep into our creativity and knowledge of banking and AI. The result? We won third place! Our prize was a travel gift card, and I used mine to help fund a breathtaking trip to Iceland with my husband. It was the perfect way to celebrate both my team's success and nCino's commitment to supporting its employees beyond the workplace. This experience reinforced what I love about working at nCino. It’s not just about the work I do; it’s about how the company creates opportunities for me to grow, connect, and make memories that last far beyond the office walls. A huge thank you to my team, Avery and Ellie, for being such wonderful teammates, and to nCino for fostering an environment where innovation and employee well-being go hand-in-hand. This was without a doubt a work accomplishment I’ll never forget!
