FROM THE FLORIDA CULTURAL ALLIANCE: 2025 Bills Concerning Arts & Culture We need to appeal for amendments more favorable to the sector on both of these. Suggestions to begin conversations with lawmakers are in the adjacent document. HB1011/SB1524:Changes programs may be funded by state arts and culture grants, changes who is eligible to apply, combines Cultural and Museum Grants and Culture Builds Florida Grants into one list, and more, SB482/HB665: The bill prohibits counties and municipalities from requiring applicants to install, pay for, or reimburse costs related to works of art as a condition for processing or issuing development permits or orders. SB482/HB665 have been referred the committees listed below. If your Senator or Representative are on one of these committees and you're meeting with them, remember to include your interest in seeing a "friendlier to the arts" version.
