Last Friday, Lids had the pleasure of hosting students from the University of Kentucky at our Indianapolis HQ! During their afternoon here, the students played trivia with SVP of Finance Greg Cox, toured our building, met with a panel of Lids employees, and learned about LinkedIn and resumes with our recruiting team! A huge thank you to Ryessia Russell for organizing this visit for UK. Thank you as well to everyone who helped make this visit possible on the Lids side, including Landon Sinnis, Tara Cassidy, Jessica Hintz, Robin Smith, and Audrey Poole!

A large event is never put on by just one person. A successful event is always due to the hard work of many people behind the scenes. And I am so grateful for the hard work that this team put in to make our Annual Golf Outing a success. This week was our biggest fundraiser of the year at The Lids Foundation where not only was there a Golf Outing but a Tee Off Dinner the night before as well. We hosted over 200 people over the past two days and there is no way it could have been done without this amazing team. Many thanks to Gretchen Crisp, who made all the hotel arrangements, Tara Cassidy & Rebecca Lopez, MBA, who arranged our Silent Auction & Bourbon Putt Off, Jack Newton who arranged and led all 100 of our Volunteers, and Chase Carnes & Rustin Boliek who provided us with the most amazing Swag! It is because of this team and our many volunteers from Lids that our Golf Outing was a huge success. It is always an honor to work with these individuals. Shout out to Isaac Wright at the Lucas Oil Stadium and Rylan Porter, PGA at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course for hosting us and helping with making sure our guests were well taken care of.

One of my favorite aspects of Lids culture is that everyone is always willing to take time out of their day to engage with students and young professionals! On Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting students from Kelley Retail Workshop. While the students were here, they had the opportunity to talk with SVP of Merchandising Paul Eusebio, learn more about opportunities with Lids and tour our corporate office, and do a merchandise categorization activity with members of our Buying team - Makaela Addington, Chase Carnes, and Lily Wilcox. A big thank you to everyone on the Lids side who helped make this visit possible, as well as Dana Olsen for organizing on the Kelley side!
