The Blue River Community Foundation is calling for mural artists to create a stunning piece that raises awareness about local bird species that are being impacted by climate change. This project is part of National Audubon Society’s expansive mural project featuring 120+ bird murals across America. Standing in McGregor, Texas, and seeing this 600,000 SF facility rise from the fields was incredible! Partnering with Knauf North America has been a perfect match, with shared values like integrity and innovation driving every step. Mastering tilt-wall construction to crafting 75-foot panels weighing 230,000 pounds, this project represents the largest manufacturing facility we’ve built in 40+ years. Transforming a cow pasture into a state-of-the-art operation with 160 employees running 24/7 is a proud milestone for both teams, and we’re excited to see how it will shape the future!
