In celebration of the new multi-year partnership between Nature’s Own and Make-A-Wish America, the “Slice of Hope” series will highlight Flowers’ team members who have a personal connection to the organization, raising awareness of the nonprofit’s mission and sharing opportunities for employees to get involved. 💫 For Loxley, daughter of Ty Slocumb, director of procurement, having a wish granted was an uplifting end to what had been years of challenges for her and her family. “Make-A-Wish is a wonderful organization,” said Ty. “I was beyond thrilled and excited when Nature’s Own announced the partnership; I can’t think of a more worthy cause.” Flowers employees can learn more about Loxley's story and how to get involved with Make-A-Wish on our Intranet at: https://lnkd.in/dx6NYBcv.

At Flowers, partnership is the cornerstone of our business. We forge strong relationships with our customers built on a century of baking experience and a deep understating of the market and what consumers want. Together, our Retail Customer Sales team and DSD (direct store distribution) Sales team are on the forefront of developing and nurturing those customer partnerships. We recently sat down with James Simms, executive vice president of DSD sales operations, and Meredith Wiktorowski, senior vice president and chief customer officer, to learn how leaning into the underlying synergy between their teams helps build and support stronger partnerships with customers, driving evolution and growth for the company. Team members can read the full story on our Intranet at: https://lnkd.in/eQFraGPZ. #freshforwardflowers
