ESTAT Actuation builds electroadhesive clutches and brakes that are 10x lighter, 10x more compact, and 1000x more efficient than conventional clutch hardware. Our customers use our products to create robot designs that were previously infeasible in the mobile robotics, logistics robots, wearable robots, and manufacturing verticals.

Four reasons to love our UltraSlim brakes: 📜 They are paper thin. With a thickness of only 0.015" (0.4 mm) our brakes can fit into any system in which you can squeeze two sheets of paper between your mover and your base. 🚫 🛠 No tools or major modifications required Our UltraSlim brakes install with peel-and-stick adhesives. This makes them perfect for retrofitting to existing systems. 🚫 🔌 No cabling to the platform, stage or carriage is needed.
