Wildfires are still burning in California, but much-needed rain arrived helping firefighters contain more of the flames. In these conditions, officials are warning residents of possible mudslides, toxic ash runoff, and hazardous waste.  In the uncertainty, Convoy of Hope is still on the ground working with local partners by providing dozens of loads of supplies to remind survivors they are not alone. "When there's unity, there's nothing we can't do." ♥️ Over the weekend, thousands of volunteers from across Clarksville, Tennessee, came together in partnership with Convoy of Hope and U.S. Hunger to pack more than 500,000 meals, which will be distributed to those in need in the U.S. and around the world. These meals will provide both relief to those facing food insecurity and hope for the future. A new fire — the Hughes fire — has developed north of Los Angeles County and brings even more turmoil for Californians impacted by wildfires over the past month.
