Last year, Cargill helped restore 38 billion liters of water across our global supply chains – 33 billion liters of that through advancing regenerative agriculture practices like cover crops, rotational grazing and agroforestry. Can chickens transform communities? Our Hatching Hope initiative is proof that they can. 🐣 The initiative provides training to small- and mid-sized farmers to improve poultry production. The farmers — mostly women — can then sell the poultry and their eggs, boosting their income and providing their neighbors with high-quality, affordable protein. We co-founded the initiative with Heifer International in 2018. Now, we’re focused on growth. In 2024, Hatching Hope expanded its reach in India, and welcomed new partners in Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and Southern Africa. See how the initiative works: https://lnkd.in/gjAmbtCe
