As you pursue your 2025 goals, take note of where perfectionism might be holding you back, and focus on shifting toward progress, balance, and self-compassion. #mindset #newyearsresolutions #goals #perfectionism #freshstart

✨Your 100% can change from day to day ✨ Some days, your best might look like tackling a full to-do list, and other days, it might mean simply getting out of bed—and both are worth celebrating. We can’t always have the same motivation or energy levels, and that’s completely natural. Your effort is what matters, not how it measures up to yesterday or anyone else’s 💚

When you hear news of layoffs, it’s natural to feel a bit uneasy and wonder: What if that happens to me? A 2023 survey found that nearly half of workers are concerned about job security, with executives expressing the highest worry (66%). Source: https://lnkd.in/gEMEpn3M While these worries are common, remember not to let them take over. Anxiety around job stability can affect your well-being – and even your focus at work. Consider the following to help you feel more prepared: 1️⃣ Create a simple career plan. 2️⃣ Stay open to new opportunities. 3️⃣ Keep learning new skills. 4️⃣ Take care of yourself along the way. You’re not alone in feeling this way. Focus on what’s in your control, and try to let go of what isn’t. And remember, when one door closes, another one opens.

Job interviews can be nerve-wracking, but a little empathy can create a supportive environment where true potential shines. Whether you’re attending or conducting an interview, here are some ways to foster a more positive experience: For candidates: Stay mindful and grounded: Take a few moments before your interview to slow your breathing and ground your body into the present moment. You may even want to try a power pose 🧘 Reframe your anxiety as ‘good stress’: studies show that brief stressful events may enhance performance and alertness (https://lnkd.in/gCKeH8rq). Do you research: the best way to feel prepared is to make sure you know who you are interviewing with and what they are looking for. For interviewers: Provide candidates with information on what to expect pre-interview. Reassure candidates with non-verbal communication: A smile or a nod during an interview can go a long way. Let candidates complete their thoughts: Avoid interrupting or jumping in too soon. By approaching the interview process with kindness, preparation, and understanding, both candidates and interviewers can contribute to a more positive hiring experience 🤝 Sources: https://lnkd.in/gwSuKEUs https://lnkd.in/gpRD46xd
