3 años creyendo en el valor y el poder de la #comunidad, para construir una necesitas una. Cuando comenzó #Step4ward como grupo de mentoras no teníamos nombre éramos women-mentoring dentro del slack de Bcn Engineering (de allí que aún conservemos el user group con ese nombre). Éramos las mismas mentoras que organizamos, las que mentorizabamos, y todo era súper súper manual (spoiler: el bot era yo 😂) Ahora tenemos más estructura tenemos un grupo de #mentoras más dedicado a la organización interna y un grupo más dedicado a atender a nuestras mentorizadas. Hemos (han) automatizado muchos procesos porqué hacerlos manual no aporta valor (gracias Isabel Garrido Cardenas por ser nuestra Automation Queen); tenemos un proceso de onboarding de mentoras (gracias Susana V. por asumir el liderazgo en esto, de los pasos ya creados por todas); tenemos web step4ward.es y sobrevivimos al cambio de Trello a pago (gracias 🖥️ Liliana Muñoz por currarte las migraciones, nuestra Queen Doer), tenemos calendario de marketing (gracias Lorena Romero Ruíz por ser la Marketing Queen); tomamos decisiones estrategicas en consenso con las mentoras (gracias a todas y a Olga Coll Pérez por ser la estratega) GRACIAS A TODAS las personas que habéis formado parte de estos 3 años, le debo mucho a esta iniciativa y me encanta verla crecer y que sea cada día más independiente. Sobre todo gracias a nuestras #mentorizadas por creer en nosotras, y tener la paciencia de entender que somos todas voluntarias.
