“My favorite memory with ABF Freight is when I competed in the 2023 Nebraska Trucking Competition and won third place in the Twin-Trailers division. I have been a road driver for almost four years with ABF, working out of our Omaha, NE service center. My favorite part of this job is being able to meet and discuss work with other drivers and learn better ways to perform my job. I went through the TMAP program in Fort Carson, CO and I truly think that it prepared me for the vigorous requirements of the job. I would definitely recommend attending an ABF-led training course, due to having actual ABF drivers training you and preparing you to perform the job. A personal milestone I am currently celebrating is making it over 400,000 miles in under three years. One of my favorite things about working at this company is the friendly and helpful people I work with daily. "I have worked at ABF Freight for the last seven years and am currently the linehaul manager at our ABF Freight Atlanta, GA service center. I started as a management trainee in New Orleans, then worked as an inbound supervisor in Memphis, an outbound supervisor, and a linehaul supervisor in Atlanta. I've been the linehaul manager for over three years now. I had no plans to go into trucking, but after working in the field, I love it. My favorite part of my ABF career is the incredible people I've worked with. As a proud member of the ArcBest Leadership Academy Class of 2024, the relationships and mentorships I’ve gained over the years have fostered camaraderie within my team and shaped my management style, making work more fulfilling and guiding how I lead today. I also love attending the Georgia Truck Driver Championship every May with my Atlanta road drivers. Management is about finding balance for you and your team, staying humble, and learning from others across the company. At ABF, collaboration is a core value, and I'm proud to work for a company that shares many of my personal values. I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife, studying Brazilian Portuguese, and DJing/producing Techno music in my free time. I've toured, played festivals, and released tracks on record labels.
