LEMOINE is proud to announce our next landmark project in Baton Rouge—the new Louisiana State Police Crime Laboratory. This 115,000 SF state-of-the-art facility will enhance forensic capabilities for the Louisiana State Police, featuring specialized forensic laboratories, staff offices, evidence warehousing, and meeting spaces. In addition to the cutting-edge interior, the project includes site preparation, parking and service drives, utility infrastructure, site lighting, and advanced security and surveillance systems. We’re honored to contribute to this critical facility, supporting the pursuit of justice and public safety in Louisiana. LEMOINE Infrastructure is making great strides at the 900+ acre site in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana, preparing it for a major renewable energy development. Our work includes clearing and grubbing existing cane fields, excavating, and backfilling ditches, performing earthwork and grading for solar pad installation, constructing access roads and permanent site entrances, and installing pipe culverts for efficient drainage. At LEMOINE, our in-house AGC Facilitators have customized the Lean Builder Master Class training to seamlessly align with our Lean practices and principles. Through real-life simulations and specialized training sessions, we equip our employees with the skills they need to excel on their construction projects. We’re excited to announce that LEMOINE has successfully completed its first Lean Builder Master Class, with 12 participants earning The Lean Builder Certified designation! This training is based on The Lean Builder: A Builder’s Guide to Applying Lean Tools in the Field and is led by its creators and AGC members, Keyan Zandy and Joe Donarumo. The course includes a 47-module video series covering essential Lean topics such as daily huddles, visual communication, the Last Planner System®, pull planning, look-ahead planning, percent plan complete, and The Eight Wastes. Today, we highlight the incredible Zaha Hadid, a visionary who broke barriers and redefined modern architecture. Starting her career in the 1970s, when few women were present in the industry, Zaha’s determination and innovation paved the way for future generations. Her bold, groundbreaking designs continue to inspire architects and builders worldwide. Dame Zaha Hadid (1950–2016) was an Iraqi-British architect, artist, and designer, recognized as a leading figure in late 20th and early 21st-century architecture. Her legacy lives on through the iconic structures she created and the doors she opened for women in construction.
