Description not clear CorinneI bought these for my bookshelves to ship to home because the store is not super close to my house but learned after they delivered that it didn’t come with the power cord. The product description online is not very clear that you NEED to buy the separate cord to even get one light to work so now I have to buy it separately and pay shipping or drive the hour to the store to go buy the cord and driver if I want to dim. Very unhappy.

Cute, but doesn’t really have a use.MicahSo I loved the idea of this product, but didn’t realize the power supply was sold separately. I guess I should’ve realized, since it is IKEA, but they only have the power supply available in white which doesn’t match the lamp. Honestly I should probably just return this little light because I haven’t even gotten it out of the box.

Horrible - why would you not have the power adapter needed noted on the box?BillI bought these lights and when I got home and opened the box no way to power the light up. My fault I guess I should have checked the box. Drove 30 minutes back to Ikea - no one on the floor at all to ask for help. Again no name or model number of the part needed on the light box. Grabbed what appeared to be the correct item which was RIGHT NEXT TO THE lights I bought. Nope. Those have a power plug but not for this light but a puck light. Now all four of the things I purchased are going back to Ikea. Waste of my time and energy. How simple is it to get a product manager and a graphic person on the same page? Heck your website doesn't do a good job of explaining what is needed. Ridiculous.

Easy to install DuaneThese installed very easy. The adjustable head are a good feature. I used them on an Ikea cabinets for my wife’s purse display. They could be a bit brighter.
Attractive, functional, easy to installMarkInstalled with command strip removable Velcro so the lights can be relocated more easily if needed. My bookcases have the Billy extensions on them so after installation I had only a few inches to the ceiling. If using screws attach the light bracket to the top of the extension prior to installing the extension.
It takes only a few minutes to install each light to the lighting hub. The lights can be daisy chained from light to light which makes cable management easy.
I bought a compatible IKEA remote which pairs with the hub and makes turning the lights on or off from anywhere in the room possible.
These are slim in profile and completely illuminate the 31.5” Billy bookcase, providing a warm light easy on the eyes.

Nice light quality, dimmingJuddNice, warm light (looks like 2700K to me), dims well with the Rodret dimmer switch (and Trådfri “gateway”). Matte black finish looks good. I appreciate two options for mounting: screws or 3M adhesive strips.
I recommend spacing them 12–15” apart. On my 64-inch wide bookcase I installed four lamps to get even illumination.

Not happy!PeterDesign wise this looks perfect. What I do not like is that to make this work I have to buy a separate power source. I bought 2 of these for book shelves each in a different room. That makes it an expensive light where I have many other alternatives. So, I am not happy

After finally buying, we were delighted to learn how easily they install with heavy duty 3m strips. Now everyone coming to visit comments on these lights. Husband asks why we didn’t buy long ago. Oh, I ordered a remote smart plug from Amazon to make switching lights on/off convenient. Very pleased with Ytberg.
