do yourself a favor a buy a mattress from literally anywhere else.Hailunwhen you open this mattress up for the first time, it's curled up at both ends so you're getting an old sagging-in-the-middle mattress experience that you would get from a mattress at the end of its life expectancy, straight out of the box. You're losing about a feet of usable space from both ends.
and DONT tell me to wait for the mattress to expand fully, It's been almost a day. I've had plenty of mattresses in a box, like $200 ones from amazon and they've never had this issue- you can just open the box and sleep on it in minutes. You want to know why? because they don't package the mattress in a way that causes the ends to curl up! It's such a simple fix too - ROLL THE MATTRESS THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!
And even if the packaging wasn't an issue, i still wouldn't buy this thing! There's nothing about this mattress that feels like it was worth $600. The materials feel like your bog standard mattress material. Should be 200-300 at most.

Amazing Mattress! NicholasI recently bought the Full size for my new bed. I tried it out in the store and loved it, it was exactly the same when I opened the package at home. Keep in mind that it is on the firmer side. It is good for heavier sleepers and people who need support on their sides. If you don't like firm I would definitely suggest something plushier.
Great edge support all around.
The mattress has a slight odor at first, it's not unpleasant but make sure it airs out for awhile. I would also suggest a little mattress protector with a cushion on top for comfort. Do that and this mattress will be the best you've ever owned. 5
Poorly designed and uncomfortable. BrianTerribly disappointing mattress. I once owned an IKEA Sultan Hasselback. It was the best mattress I ever slept on. So comfortable - firm yet giving. I never wanted to leave the bed. The Annelund is the opposite. It felt so much better in the store. It’s too firm. I wake up with pain from side sleeping because the mattress has no give. This is the only mattress I’ve ever experienced pain from and I travel for work amd sleep in hotels often. It’s only 7.5” deep which made for easy roll up & transport, but a set of Queen sheets I bought at IKEA are too big for and don’t stretch over the corners tightly. Plus it’s short on my bed by 2” This also explains why the queen sheets are too big for it. The mattress pad pulls up the corners off the platform, that’s how flimsy and cheap it is. I feel like I got a defective mattress. I’m an IKEA guy. I have bought many nice things over the years. This is not one of them. It is poorly designed & fabricated. I know IKEA can do better than this 1
Horrible ProductAlethiaSome of the Ikea mattresses in years past were relatively descent for the price point. Now, they are complete crap! I bought the most expensive mattress Ikea sells and it’s the worst mattress I’ve ever owned. It never flattened out on either end; it looked like a curled up letter ‘C’. I had it for over a month and it never opened up flat. Plus, it was a foot short. It was literally 4 1/2 feet long. It was completely defective. The worst part is they don’t return mattresses; they will only give you a credit. So now I’m stuck with a $650 store credit and I still need to buy a mattress. I will never recommend an Ikea mattress. Don’t waste your money. 1
Comfortable replacement for latex Ikea mattress TamaraI had a latex mattress from Ikea that I loved, but it was past its prime. I wanted another latex one, but it seems they aren’t available anymore so I tried out the offerings and settled on this one. At first I thought I might have to exchange the medium firm for a firm but after a few weeks I found this one to be just right for great sleep every night!5
ComfortAnonymousComfort, to sleep is all I need and this mattress is the best5
Great Purchase!CharisseI love, love, love this mattress!! I get the best sleep. Firm but not hard. Worth the splurge!! 5
Great mattressJoanneVery comfortable and I have no complaints.5
ComfortableMichaelAfter the mattress has been sitting out for a few days, it has expanded to a very comfortable feel.
Don't forget to accompany the mattress with a good frame.5
Comfy MattressDuaneI’ve found this mattress to be comfortable for a restful sleep. It has the right amount of firmness for my liking. 5
Don't buy a mattress from IkeaAnonymous reviewerI liked this mattress in the store. The one I received is completely different and hard as a rock. It was supposed to be medium/firm. I recommend you do not buy a mattress from Ikea because you don't know what you are going to get. 2
AvoidAnonymous reviewerWe've had great experiences with Ikea mattresses in the past. Not so with this one. Even after two weeks the sides curl as if it just came out of the bag. The foam won't take full form. As a result, it's like laying on a hammock not sleeping on a mattress. Really disappointing particularly given the price.1
Employees are desiring to be helpful put the systems in place made it impossible. Anonymous reviewerProduct is good3
Great price with multiple comfort options NicoleI chose Medium/Firm and it was perfect! Super comfortable and I thought the price was great for the quality. In my quest room and so far, my family has loved sleeping on the mattress. 5
Anneland med firm a win!Anonymous reviewerI have now been sleeping my new Queen size Anneland med- firm since August 5, 2024. It took a full three weeks for the mattress and my body to fully acclimate. I love this mattress. Initially its very firm- my old mattress was a very expensive high end mattress that was way past its useful life, so my body was used to the support it needed. After initial period the mattress is now comfortable, I am a side sleeper, and supportive. It’s amazing to me that I sleep so well. My experience is there wasn’t any odors after I opened and let the mattress expand for several days. I also purchased Lyngor foundation and put both on a traditional wood frame vintage bed frame. This bed is perfect for me and cannot stress enough my appreciation to IKEA for great mattresses at a very affordable price point. 5

Avoid this mattressAnonymous reviewerI had a Haugsvar, medium-firm mattress that I loved. I upgraded my bed to a larger size and discovered that IKEA had discontinued the mattress I loved. I bought the Anneland, medium-firm and it’s garbage. It’s not as firm, the sides are squishy, the texture is unpleasant and cheap. I will return it! Doing so is a real pain in the patooty (especially being a single female without a truck) but I’m not keeping this $700 hunk of junk.2
Not comfortable and low quality Cristina
I observed that the mattress did not provide the level of support I anticipated. Its firmness has resulted in discomfort, contributing to a restless night’s sleep.1
Solid PurchaseJonathanHaving used this bed for nearly 3 months I am happy with the purchase. It's definitely firm and goes with the malm line of beds.5
Great mattress for an affordable priceChrisFirst, I loved that I could take this mattress home because it was rolled up. The mattress was for my son's new bed which we also bought from IKEA, and he loves it. It is very comfortable, and he gets a great night's sleep on it.5
