A commission by Hida, done for Sepiaa for her birthday! Kinda late for the birthday, but hopefully it was worth the wait. Thank you both for being great people, this was a pleasure to paint for you! <3

Thank you! Kinda a combination of both. I make a small section by hand, then clone stamp it all over the place to fill the star field. Once that's in place, it looks like a repeating pattern, so I go back and alternately erase and add more stars to break up that pattern. =3
:O Oh! That makes a lot more sense than the way's I have tried in the past. I usually try that noise filter thing that people always make tutorials about, but for some reason I have only gotten it to look right one time. Your technique sounds more logical and easier to retain a quality look... it's got a stunning effect! You're like, the only person I know that can get nebula and that milky way portion to look so beautiful
See this I see as fairing excellence, no need to be mature in any manner. I see this as the places to sojourn this looks like the tribal North American west, in the middle of nowhere, but with a commanding view.
I see this and wonder, Am I the only one that sees this image as if the planet exists in the V-838 Monoceros Nebula? All the same though, this is extremely well done.
