Standing at between 7ft and 9ft tall, with 8 limbs total and an armored hide, Kr'i'K can be imposing if you've not met one before.
Get to know one however and you'll find they're gentle giants. The second most common species in most modern spaceports (and not an uncommon sight on Earth) after humans, Kr'i'K are often employed as administrators or mechanics, able to handle each limb 100% separately. Where they really excel however is as transport pilots. Where a 3 human crew would struggle to park larger transports, a single Kr'i'K can manuver one to parking without the assistance of tugs.
While shy and over cautious naturally, most Kr'i'K who have lived in the universe at large for any amount of time become confident and excellent judges of character.
Over the last 300 years since humans first encountered Kr'i'K, both species have become very much at ease with each other, commonly forming inter species crews, serving in a joint military and even forming inter species relationships.

Kr'i'K are omnivorous but (like most of my made up species) able to swallow large prey or objects whole, possessing 4 stomachs, 2 storage, 2 processing, and with a slightly transparent underbelly. They have both an internal and an external skeleton, give birth to live young that they then carry in an internal pouch. Most of their organs are in their abdomen and each eye can be linked to one limb, allowing a sitting Kr'i'k to perform 4 distinct tasks.
Fully capable of speaking most human languages, Kr'i'K prefer their own language for ease but of all Earth languages they seem to be best at speaking Welsh.
Because of species integration, both Kr'i'K and Welsh have become much more commonly spoken in the last 300 years.
