A fursuit (the first to be precise!) I made a few years back, and updated this year with a new head due to the old one starting to look scruffy. Based on my very old Werewolf: the Apocalypse character.
I tried a number of experimental ideas in this, like the claw toecaps to reduce the apparent size of my feet.
The hair on the head is hand wefted, which is about the most time consuming thing I've ever done. But the result meant I could braid and style the hair. Head is stylised to be a hybrid halfway between human and wolf, based on the art by Ron Spencer, hand sculpted and cast in resin.
The armour is made from lightweight foam, making it safe for busy conventions. The clothing is suede and leather.
