Hey everyone! So, I've decided on a theme for my badges for 2012, and seeing as I'm a huge movie buff, choosing 'films" was a no-brainer!
These are all example/gift badges for my buds, demonstrating what they will/can look like.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET UPON COMMISSION:
-Choose any film! Pick either your favorite character (or you could simply want your character to be in a scene from the movie) and i will depict you as such.
-Gender doesn't matter! If you're character is female and want to be a male character, I can either swap the roles or depict you as the opposite gender.
-You can have as much or little detail as you want, along with the movie font for your name.
Since everyone uses PayPal, and since these badges do take some time/looking up references, they will be 30$ a piece. BUT if anyone would like to pay with a chasier's check I will charge you 25$!

This is an awesome idea.
My only question, is it limited to live-action movies, or can cartoons or animated films be included?
I ask because some of my favorite character looks, are animated characters and not live action movie characters.
There are several live-action films I'm definitely interested in snatching a look from, but I was just wondering if that was the only option for this theme. :)

*laughs* I was almost hoping you would have said no, as now I have to really figure out what I might want.
Between live action and animated, I came up with about 15 to choose from, and as awesome as it would be, that would be too much work for you and too costly for me. :D
Would it be okay if I go with 3 of these? I don't want to throw too many at you to do, but trying to figure out just one would cause my head to explode. :)

Sure! And no way, that's not too many. These are REALLY fun to do, so it's not a chore at all. I try to narrow it down by picking my absolute favorites- for the Swintha example, I wanted to do either Kill Bill or Singing in the Rain (i love both) but singing in the rain is my favorite of all time, so that made it a little easier. And how about this, since you have a bunch of characters (and since you are always so nice to commission me) you pick three movies/characters of yours you want and I'll throw in a fourth for free :)
