A friend of mine has been creating this absolutely beautiful draconic-looking jewelry for years now, and has never had the gumption to try selling them. In the spirit of helping her along, I decided I'd post one of her recent works here, to see if there are any furries out there that would love this stuff as much as me. I'm trying to convince her to make some to bring to FWA.
This is one of a pair of golden scale glovelets, which can be worn on anyone with an eight inch wrist or less. The scales are anodized aluminum, as is the chain. The scales flower out when your hand is pointed down, and look amazing.
I figure there's got to be some dragons out there that would love wearing these beauties, and at $50 for the PAIR she's practically giving them away.
She can craft them in different sizes or colors, too, so please feel free to ask. Send me a PM if you'd be interested in owning a pair of these. . . she doesn't have an FA account, so I'm 'agenting' for her.
If all goes well, I might be able to convince her to open her own FA page or come to cons, and that'd just be slammin'. So, help induct a new member to the furry world, and get some awesome scale mail. . . everyone wins!

Unfortunately I don't have any spare money right now, just paid off my credit card so funds are short at the moment.
If nothing else, I'd bring some of these to cons with you if she'll let you, I'll be at AC and would love to take a look at them in person (and try one on for comfort and stuff)

This is stunning, beautiful work and yes i think your friend should sell these, if there's any more of her work that she'll let you show off, don't hesitate to show it. the more talent we have out there creating and letting their talents blossom (and making some money while at it, of course) the better.
So try to get her on to FA, It may give her the confidence to start selling if she gets a few comments and notes with positive feedback and asking about buying her jewelery.

Beautiful work! I do not think that the range of interest is restricted to dragons, at all; I think anyone who likes fantastic clothing or jewelry would be quite pleased to own something like this, myself included.
Not that I have anything with which to wear it, but who does not like to collect and occasionally wear cool things? XP

Definitely an amazing piece! I know myself and at least one other who would be interested in such things (And hey, I'll be at FWA too.) Though I would want to know a bit on pricing ideas first.
Sounds like it'll be fairly light and be definitely great for costumes or just something different and special to wear.
