Details on where Michael Harrison – aka Tigercat – came from are unclear, but he has been traveling the galaxy for more than ten years as a bounty hunter.

Tigercat was often ostracized growing up for two major reasons. First, there's his rare genetic condition that gave him an extra set of arms. It’s estimated that only 1 in 6,000 people have that extra set. It also gave him a few additional internal organs, a few of which have been removed due to overcrowding. He's the only person in his family tree with four arms.

Second, he has autism and is also the only one in his family tree with it. Growing up was tough, as when he was initially diagnosed as a child about 1 in 300 people had autism (it’s since dropped to around 1 in 60, what with people understanding it more). Things have become easier for him over the years, but he still struggles to interact with others.

While he did above average at school and graduated from college, he often found it tough to gain consistent employment. Between people not trusting someone who looks like him and his struggles in interacting with people, it wasn’t easy to get anywhere. But he eventually started taking things in his own hands, working as a freelancer doing jobs for random people.

It didn’t take long for him to realize his skills in weaponry and his ability to strategize in various situations were his greatest assets. As the years went by, TC became one of the top bounty hunters in the galaxy.

He’s become a trusted figure who’s ready to work for anyone…provided the price is right, that is.

Extra Organs
In addition to having four arms, TC also has various extra organs. He has two brains – his head brain helps him with all five senses, while his chest brain stores all his memories and personality data. He also has three lungs, two hearts, five kidneys, and two bladders. He had a fourth lung and sixth kidney, but they were removed due to the overcrowding threat they posed to the rest.

Regeneration
Tigercat can regenerate any limbs he loses, plus he can regenerate his head. It takes about an hour for each limb to grow back or four hours for his head to return. It’s not unusual for him to finish a successful mission missing a few arms and maybe an eye or leg, but they’ll come back.

Outfit
During his missions, Tigercat wears a green leotard and matching gloves and shoes. His leotard provides full mobility and flexibility, plus it provides shielding to protect his torso; his organs and central brain can’t regenerate like his limbs and head can. He also wears specialized glasses. He can also store additional weapons and materials inside his computer compartment.

Weapons
TC typically carries three or four pistols with him, but he is also adept at two-handed weapons like shotguns; he can carry two of those at a time if necessary. He can also use melee weapons like knives and projectiles like grenades.

Computers
TC’s leotard features a built-in computer that is especially critical to his missions. The computer helps him track his location, vital signs, and mission objectives. He glasses also wirelessly link to his computer to give him more data when he moves about. He can plan his missions and review data with ease from anywhere.

His Autism (and how his computers help)
Although he has done better as he ages, TC still often struggles to decode other peoples’ emotions and body language. It’s often tough for him to multitask or handle disorganized things as well. He also often experiences mute episodes where he struggles to speak when around people he’s not familiar with or when he doesn't have a definite reason or purpose for why he's talking to someone.

That’s where his computer and glasses come in handy. His tech can read peoples’ body language and vocal tones and help decode meanings and emotions, helping TC see how to interact with people. It's easier to talk with others as a result.

His computer can also produce synthesized speech whenever he has a mute episode. Sometimes the things his computer says conflict with what he wants, but it's often for the best.
