Veil's Reference Sheet (New Fursona!)
Yes, yes I know... JavaMoss made another fursona, how surprising! Patience now-- I'm proud to say I've been planning this sona for sometime now! It took a lot of workshopping and ideas, but Veil the dragon has been born!
I've been wanting to make another dragon to represent myself since I feel I know myself much better than I had a few years ago when I made Leviticus for the same purpose. (Leviticus is going NOWHERE, no worries <3) . Expect to see lots of dragon art again! Most will depict him in feral form, but I can see him being fun to depict as anthro.
If you're into sona Infodumping:
• I want to use this sona for a variety of themes. I want him to represent a wholistic view of me. He can be used as a vessel to express/explore kinks all the way to being used as a cope for vent art if I have a bad day with my psychosis. There's no telling what scenes this dragon is gonna get himself into!
• I gave him ram-like features to give a predator/prey split type of vibe. I feel I can see myself as both in many instances, so Veil is able to take on either role well. Also... the ram is my chinese zodiac! I used to not be so thrilled about that in the past, but I gained such a love for the animal while studying for this design <3
• Dark Matter in this context is fantasial, not based on actual dark matter. He has to use his element sparingly, and anything his breath touches will begin to chip away into nothingness. If used too often, Veil can lose his mind and potentially cause massive harm to either his environment and/or himself. He does his best to avoid using it, and isn't really great about discussing his element to others.
• His markings are based on a mixture between horse appaloosa markings and leopard geckos. I have three leos myself, and I just think horses are pretty!
