Be proud someone loves you enough to call you their dad Wac, it's something most of us will probably not experience in our lifetime at this point.

I'll always be thankful I grew up in a good home. Well, at least my parents never took out their problems on me.

I'll probably never get to be a mother myself, but I've lost count of the number of people who have said "You're like a mother to me" or similar over the years. I've jokingly (or semi-jokingly) said I'd adopt them, even if not on paper, so they can have a positive mother in their lives.

It still gives me a moment of "Holy crap, I'm a 'mom'?" every single time. ^_^;;

I figure I can't be any worse of a parent than my dad, though. I haven't told anyone they "should be proud" of having blond hair and blue eyes because "some people" thought that was a sign of genetic superiority...

Well the young adults these days are getting a head start on getting used to being called "daddy".
