Going through the long dark of winter while being a plant parent is certainly An Experience
It doesn't quite get to "Oskaar from Iceland" level of darkness here, but my houseplants are certainly complaining (dying) very loudly.

Plant lights certainly have very much been on the list of "things I should probably get around to getting", but the prospect of having to rearrange more things and having a semi-permanent power drainer always scared me off it. But sheeesh, I guess I could, especially after visiting a friend at NFC who had a great plant shrine set up with them.
But good that you and your autotrophic children (wow that's the first I've heard that term) are happy!
