Taken from the comments on the previous page, I guess all of you knew about Myre's reaction. A wound this big definitely needs more than just a splash of water. :) Thank you all for commenting! It truly brings me so much joy to read your thoughts!
This week has been an incredible grind due to a very tight deadline from my German publisher, Splitter, who will be publishing Myre this March. Because of the different format, I had to resize and adapt the pages to fit their requirements and avoid white borders. Since I wanted everything to be just right, I also made sure to fill in the gaps. This meant painting parts of the backgrounds to make the pages fit perfectly. The written sound effects were part of this process, too. There’s a lot going on in Myre Vol. 2, and the art is richer and more intricate in parts. Meeting the deadline for the German edition was a tough grind, but I did it. :)

Ouch...reminds me of the 'devil's paint' (IE: Mercurochrome) I remember dreading and hiding in the woods for every scratch, and scrap. Cause ma would bring it out!
For yous youngin's look up Mercurochrome. Talk about hurt. The scrapes and cuts didn't hurt as much as the painting I got from it! It worked, but gods. Clean it with water, and moonshine, but not the paint!
Glad they finally banned that stuff. We found a half-used bottle of that hidden away in a drawer recently. I tossed the paint and kept the bottle for a keepsake, however.
